Do you like to read Blogs that discuss Christianity?
I do, and I visit quite a number regularly. There are several
that I really enjoy and also enjoy the comments on them.

At the risk of showing my education or lack of, I, sometimes
have to look up the meaning of words before I can continue
reading the comment.
Here are a few words that I've read in the last few weeks:
presuppositionalist, monadic categories, Thomism, Pietism.

I had to look all of them up and wasn't much better off
after I did. They aren't in the Bible, or at least
I've never seen them, so I'm not too worried about
not understanding.

Now, these aren't people with whom I necessarily disagree.
They are my brothers and sisters in Christ. I enjoy reading
their comments even if I don't understand some of the words.
If I come to a word I don't know, I just call it "ditch" and
jump it!Ha!

I am glad that God made the answer to the question "What must
I do to be saved" so simple.

"He who believes in Him is not condemned;
but he who does not believe is condemned already,
because he has not believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God."
John 3:18

a Hymn

My husband and I visited a new church this morning.
(Grace Atlanta Bible Church, Duluth, GA). We sang a
song I had never heard before. I won't quote it all,
just a couple of my favorite verses:

Little is much when God is in it!
Labor not for wealth or fame.
There’s a crown—and you can win it,
If you go in Jesus’ Name.

Are you laid aside from service,
Body worn from toil and care?
You can still be in the battle,
In the sacred place of prayer.

We were blessed by our visit to this church.
"There was a sweet, sweet Spirit in this place."

Same Song, Second Verse!

Sunday, February 14, 2010

Well, we had snow on Friday. Our back yard was lovely. It doesn't happen often, and today
it is almost all gone. We may get some more early tomorrow.
We'll see.
